Who I am

I’m an independent SEO freelance. I advise startups, developers and investors on how to grow their organic traffic and integrate a consistent SEO strategy into their digital activities. Have a look at my LinkedIn profile if you want to know more
Here’s what make my proposition unique:
- I have over 14 years’ of practical experience working in SEO for small and big companies (including Microsoft and eBay), agency and client side.
- I am not only a technical SEO. I am a content strategist, a social media expert and an entrepreneur. I can really put myself in your shoes (or hat).
- My advise are all practical, ready for you to be applied.
- I explain the technology in a clear and concise way and only bring up the stuff that’s relevant to the matter in hand.
- I make a sincere effort to get to know you and your business.
- You always deal with me directly. I don’t employ anyone.
- I don’t have to deal with any of the bureaucracy of working in a large agency.
- I don’t get bogged down with billable hours and I won’t charge you to phone me.

- I am based in London and am happy to take meetings, but my real office is in my laptop.
What I do for startups – Early stages
Once you have given me the access to your properties on google search console and google analytics, I will:
- Run my detailed checklist on google search console:
- Use Google Page speed insights to check easy wins in terms of speed improvement and mobile friendliness
- Test TTFB to measure how quickly the server is answering the call
- Use google analytics – or any analytics solution you implemented – to measure quality of traffic (SEO should be a source of meaningful traffic and conversions)
- Use DeepCrawl to check the behaviour of the crawler within the site:
- Use Moz to analyse the website, its authority and how it performs compared to other websites in the same business
- Use Searchmetrics to verify SEO footprint, and progress through time vs competitors. Use it as well to take note of keyword with potentials, if meaningful for the business
- Use Majestic SEO to study the backlink profile.
- Use keyword planner tools (+ meeting with sales and marketing teams) to start identify keywords with potential:
- Configure STAT/Seoclarity to check progresses over time in terms of average postitions.
What I do for startups – Document
Once the analysis is ready, I move towards the documenting phase. My docs will:
- Explain key terminology in plain English
- Highlight existing issues in your preferred format
- Suggest solutions
What I do for startups – Recurring activities
- Regularly give advice as your product changes
- Track relevant keyword. Report on progresses
- Have recurrent meetings with you teams to keep them up to speed with the latest updates.
How I work

Please be as detailed as you can about your circumstances and let me know if you think you need an initial consultation or just want to jump straight into the work. I charge a fixed fee for consultations, but if you instruct me to carry out any follow-on work, I will credit the consultation fee back to you.
I provide you a quote
I have three standard forms of payment, but if you need anything specific that is not covered by a standard scenario I can create an ad hoc fee for you
My fees are calculated by taking into account how complex your enquiry is, how quickly it needs to be dealt with, and whether any third parties need to be involved.
I do not work on an hourly rate basis.
All quotes exclude VAT and disbursements.
Choose how to pay me
You pay me up front if you choose a one off consultancy, you pay me on a monthly basis (first payment again up front) if we are working together on a regular basis.
In any case, fixed === fixed. You pay me for the work you would like me to carry out, and nothing more – regardless of what is involved. You can contact me without worrying about running up a bill, and I am certain to get paid on time.
I start working
I work alone, so I’ll be the only person you deal with. I respond to emails and make amendments to documents quickly. I don’t take on work unless I have the capacity to do it – this enables me to provide an efficient and high quality service for my clients and respect for the deadlines I am giving
